Below the Lines was a brilliant sequel! It revealed the troubles and struggles of the main characters, but still brought out the best of Andrea and Lex’s relationship. It also dealt with real-life situations in a realistic manner. Definitely going to reread it!

It absolutely blew me away. I mean not gonna lie I kinda expected it to be cliche and in my mind wrote it off as like an okay book but then I started reading it and holy shit, I’ve never read anything this sexy and good while at the same time it still has emotional dept and a fascinating plot. Favorite book of all time.

Below the Lines might be a sequel, but it has to be one of the greatest, most intriguing, and unputdownable books I’ve ever read. It was such an intense ride, with them breaking up in the last book, trying to keep themselves away from each other, failing miserably, and then fighting all the people around them – it was a treat! In this second book, the attraction is double, the chemistry is double, the intensity is double, the love is double. It made me shed so many tears and I still can’t get myself to talk about the climax of the book.

It was unexpected. I expected this story to be the same novel as every other one I read. My purpose was to read an adult novel, and at the time the ones I saw were discouraging. So I came across the novel, and I tapped to read and surprisingly, it was beautiful, I’m of the author and give an ovation to such a good writer. All in all, I love Darla’s novel.

This isn’t the usual boss/employee relationship – this is a smart and sexy book full of substance. Darla has a way of writing that draws the reader in and makes her characters authentic and relatable. The chemistry she expertly crafts between the main characters is masterful. This story is truly addictive and the steamy scenes are scorching hot. I’ve read and continue to read many books on Wattpad (and other apps) and I can safely say this is my favourite storyline I’ve ever been invested in.

I’ve loved every minute of this series from the dorky protagonist to the closed-off and mysterious Lex, these stories are unlike the others and that’s what drew me in at first but the witty humor and the reality of it all are what kept me captivated and I just want to say you’re missing out if you haven’t read this yet.

Being a really picky reader, I’m rarely satisfied with what I read. I want the writing to be perfect and the book to make me feel something. I don’t like a story being rushed or characters who seems surface level. But, THIS book. If I had to recommend one book on Wattpad, it would definitely be this one. It really made me feel things and made me fell in love with the characters, but who wouldn’t. I will say this again, Wattpad doesn’t deserve this book: it’s too good for it.

The first chapter sucks you right back into the story, just like it does in Between the Lines. And the ending has you hanging off a cliff with anticipation for the next book.
